Founded in 1973, Women's Indian Association (WIA) Kozhikode has established itself as a pioneering organization deeply committed to creating a safer world for women by fostering awareness, encouraging collective action, and addressing the social issues that affect our communities and our state Kerala.

Our work includes medical assistance, financial support for families in need, food relief, assistance to persons with disabilities, support for group marriages, educational aid , providing smartphones for students during the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting smart classroom initiatives in Government schools and collaboration with organisations serving vulnerable sections of society like palliative care. Through seminars, workshops, campaigns, encouraging entrepreneurship , talks on mental health , climate change by experts , every initiative we undertake reflects our enduring belief that empowering women leads to stronger families, healthier communities, and a more equitable society.
